A lively and ebullient crowd, heated bidding and some staggering results serve to sum up the saleroom from last night's auction of the Russell and Shirley Hodgson Collection. Heading the field was the phenomenal $83 245 realized for Australian artist Dale Frank's, Ultimogeniture Brachyology Brain Fever, which near-doubles the artist's previous Australasian record held by Sotheby's in Australia.
