Doulton Lambeth Consigned
Ten pieces of Doulton Lambeth including sgraffito and pate sur pate decorated vases by Hannah and Florence Barlow have been consigned for auction later in the year. Included is a rare piece decorated with cats and kittens. All come from a private collection, a number of these pieces have previously been exhibited in the 1992 Doulton touring exhibition that was sponsered by Courier Post. Further entries are sought of complementary material.

Congratulations Invivo!
In another pairing of like with like, ART+OBJECT is proud to announce its new wine partner is Invivo. The new wine company launches at A+O tonight with a fabulous multi-media extravagnaza which includes artwork and fashion by Gregor Kregor(see illustration), Hye Rim Lee and Zambesi. For those unfortunate enough to miss the select invite list to the opening function, you can sample the first bottling tomorrow night (Thursday 11th) at the Contemporary Art + Objects preview from 6:30pm.

Hot off the press today is A+O's flagship Contemporary art + objects September 18 edition. It's sale 24 for us and it's a goodie... It kicks off with the collection of the Hanging Around Group, a modest but very interesting little buying group put together by Te Awamutu personality and staunch NZ arts supporter, Garth O'Brien, before a further 70 odd lots of quality Contemporary Australasian art including major works by Andrew McLeod, Milan Mrksuich, David Noonan, Chris Heaphy, Bill Hammond and many, many more.
