A+O Secures Major Private Design Collection

ART+OBJECT is delighted to have secured the consignment of one of the leading private collections of 20th and 21st Century Design in NZ for sale in early 2012. The English Collection of Important Design will be held in March and features many of the world's leading designers including: Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner, Robin Day, Ron Arad, Joe Colombo and many, many more. The sale follows on from the incredibly successful Ross Morrison Collection and similarly, will be presented in the context of a single catalogue, single exhibition and auction. Shane Cotton Donates Painting for Auction in Upcoming November Sale

Shane Cotton has very generously donated a work which we will auction as part of the November 22nd Important Paintings and Contemporary Art auction with all proceeds going to The Hone Tuwhare Char­i­ta­ble Trust. This trust was recently estab­lished to pur­chase and restore Hone Tuwhare’s crib at Kaka Point, develop resources for schools and ini­ti­ate events through­out Aotearoa that cel­e­brate Hone and his con­tri­bu­tion to the Arts.
