We had a good and pretty full house for the final major art sale of 2011 last night. Results were up and down reflecting the variable state of the New Zealand art market amidst the continued global volatility. Top sale price of the night went to Ralph Hotere's resplendant Black Painting (above) and a few further highlights from last night included:
